Kate Pleace
Registered Nurse
Kate Pleace is an experienced women’s health nurse with a specialist focus on fertility and premature ovarian insufficiency (POI). She has over 15 years working in fertility five years of expertise leading an egg donation program and now combines her clinical background with academic work as a lecturer and PhD researcher her PhD is focused on women’s lives experience of POI.
Alongside her academic role, Kate offers independent consultations and training for individuals and employers, providing tailored support around POI and fertility.
Her approach is holistic and evidence-based, creating a safe and supportive space for people navigating their POI and fertility journeys.
Kate also brings invaluable lived experience of POI and fertility treatment with egg donation, giving her a unique perspective that blends professional expertise with personal understanding.
