Unravelling the research
with Dr Laura Naysmith
Dr Laura Naysmith is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at King’s College London. She specialises in neuroimaging (magnetic resonance imaging, MRI) to investigate
how our brains function and change, with recent efforts exploring how new drugs might be working in the brain. Dr Naysmith also investigates how hormonal changes
impact cognition and the brain, specifically focusing on premature ovarian insufficiency (POI) and menopause. Her research seeks to provide critical insights into cognitive and health, contributing to evidence-based support for women's health through these transitions.

Research Blog
This blog makes POI research accessible, practical, and relevant. It aims to equip readers with evidence they can use to advocate for their health and long-term wellbeing.
